The phase 2 of the rm1.1bil Meridin@Medini project in Iskandar is kicking off next month Sept 2013. One of the special features of the project is the introduction of iSOVO, Small Office Versatile Office. Depending on the actual sie, the SOVO will be tagged from RM298,000. The other 2 blocks are for the Meridin Hotel Suites. To generate fast cash, the company has come out with the smart idea of sales and lease back.
For the Phase 1, 2 of the blocks were having a good take-up rate of about 80%. The total units are 295 and the price ranges between rm387,000 to rm630,000. The 3rd block was on sale since May 2013, although it was the lower density of 6 units per floor, the takeup rate was very slow. Out of 192 units, there is not statistics available. The selling price ranges between from RM1000 per sq ft and the size range from 731 to 3323 sf.
