The requirements are as follows:
1. Malaysian citizens above the age of 18 years.
2. Gross houshold income of 3000 to RM8,000
3. Applicant does not own a property in Selangor.
4. The purchase is for stay and not for renting

AFFORDABLE HOUSES FOR MALAYSIAN

The price of houses in Malaysia had risen to the level of beyond reach by most citizens. In is more expensive than the developed nations like USA. The speculators and the authorities may have contributed to the problems.

One of the ways to resolve the problems is for the government to build a cheaper and affordable homes. A corporation was set up under the Act "Akta PR1MA 2012" to set up body responsible to plan, build and manage houses and housing development in towns intending for those with the incomes of RM2500 to RM7500/

According to the paper, 20,000 house will be built with following specifications:

PRICE - Below 350,000

AREA:
- Landed properties- 1400sf to 1700sf.
- High Rise Building - 670sf to 1,300sf.

TARGETED BUYERS:
 - Age 21 and above.
- Not more than 1 property in Malaysia.
- Income rm2500 to 7500.
