MALAYSIAN NEW HOME TO COST 10% MORE

The price of new house is expected to be 10% more expensive. This is mainly caused by 2 basic reasons:

1. The government decision to increase the fuel price.
2. The crack down on the illegal immigrants.

According to the developers, the recent increase in fuel price, 20 cent for the RON95, will result to a higher construction material coat.

The industry is feeling the heat when the illegal workers are staying away from the construction sites.
As the number of workers reduce, the developers have to pay more for the workers.
